There are 8 steps to changing oneself: Gaining the Maarfah of Allah, Gain knowledge of Allah through the two main sources- The Quran and The traditions of the Prophet and Ahlebait AS, developing a clear vision, realize the reality of life, subjugate the Nafs (detailed discussion in Part 3), Receive the light of Allah to perform Salehaat, Reach the elevated state of being Rabiuun, Truly prepare for the hereafter.
