The widow of a Clare man who lost his life in a fatal road traffic collission is appealing to motorists to place safety at the forefront of their minds ahead of the World Day of Rememberance for road traffic victims this Sunday. 71 Year-Old Jerry O'Connor was killed on July 27th when the motorcycle he was travelling on was struck by a car on the N67 near Ballyvaughan. On the date of the incident, it was the fifth road fatality in the county this year, however this figure has now grown to eight.
