Deskripsi

Clare's national teacher representative says cyberbullying has become a growing problem in primary schools. It comes as Waterford is becoming the first county where every primary school will urge parents not to give their children smartphones over mounting concerns of cyberbullying and children becoming inactive by spending too much time on screens. This Waterford initiative follows on from eight schools in Greystones in Wicklow which recently brought in a no-smartphone code. Clare INTO representative, Brendan Horan, thinks cyberbullying is prevalent in primary schools due to common social media apps.
