Clare Farmers' Rep Urges Supermarkets To Bear Brunt Of Milk Price Drops

The Clare county Chair of the ICMSA is urging supermarkets and co-ops to bear the brunt of price drops in milk. Lidl, Tesco, Aldi and Supervalu have all dropped their prices by 10 cent this weekend, amid fears it could trigger a full-scale price-war. Martin McMahon says passing on the cut in prices to dairy farmers will lead to significant financial hardship, as they're already crippled with rising costs.
