Breezy Not as Warm Today; Hot & Dry Wed-Fri; Remains Dry w/Above Normal Temps in the 6-10-day Outlook

<p>Today the Tri-State area is breezy northwesterly flow with a strong ridge over the Western US and a trailing cold front from a system moving along the Canadian border near the Great Lakes. Gusty northwest winds and cooler temperatures in the mid 80’s will ne the result.  Tomorrow through the rest of the week high pressure moves over the 4-corners region and southern Rockies turning surface flow to the south leading to hot daytime temps with dry and near critical fire weather conditions along and west of KS Highway 27.   Highs in the mid to upper 90’s will be 15-20 degrees above normal for this time of the year.  Saturday a cold front will move through with gusty northwest wind blowing dust from moderate to severe drought conditions over the Tri-state area. </p>
