Are the Nets stuck with an incomplete roster? Can they even add more pieces?

Has the trade request from Kevin Durant and the uncertainty around Kyrie Irving’s future left the Nets in too much of a holding pattern this off-season? The team doesn’t have a full roster rounded out right now but is some of that in anticipation of a possible trade? How has this hampered, among other ways, the organization’s ability to structure things for the next year? It’s a bit problematic.
