<p>Hello my friend!</p> <p>Well, I've been putting this one off for a while... But here goes. :) In today’s episode I’m sharing my journey with addiction and some of my recovery story. I’m almost 12 years sober, by the Grace of God. It’s not something I ever want to take for granted. </p> <p>Addiction touches all our lives one way or another. Whether it's you struggling, your spouse, your child, your parent... I can guarantee you there is someone near you struggling, BUT there is hope!</p> <p>Addiction is driven by several things—abuse, trauma, our biology and so much more. This episode could have been 3 hours long (or 3 days really!), but I kept it short and hope it blesses you and some aspect of it encourages you. There is hope from the trauma or drama of life being or living with an alcoholic/addict of any sort. And I just want to acknowledge that loving someone active in addiction can be excruciatingly painful in every way--hang in there if that's you.
