<div>AMONG the headlines for Tuesday, September 7, 2021, De facto Law Minister Datuk Seri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said today, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong gave his consent for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob to forego a confidence vote in Parliament, when the Dewan Rakyat convenes this month.</div><br /> <div>Wan Junaidi since His Majesty saw no necessity to proceed for a vote of confidence, considering he had just appointed the new PM. </div> <div>He said the Agong was confident that Ismail Sabri has received the majority support of the Dewan Rakyat. </div> <br /> <div>Also, India reports 31,222 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total to 33.1 million.
