1975: One killed, two wounded in clashes between Ugandan and South Sudanese soldiers in contested border area

<div>One South Sudan People's Defense Forces SSPDF soldier has been killed and two others wounded in clashes between Uganda and South Sudanese soldiers in a contested border area. The two armies clashed on Saturday after the Ugandan People’s Defense Forces, UPDF, allegedly encroached into Magwi County in Eastern Equatoria State and tried to establish a barracks in the area. The Commissioner of Magwi County, Otto David, says the incident has caused worry to farmers who are cultivating in the area. <br> <br> </div> <div>Commissioner Otto, however, says calm as returned to the area. He further called on the national government to intervene.<br> <br> </div>
