1854: Lawyer questions legal basis for new fines imposed by the traffic police department

<div>A legal expert and lecturer at the University of Juba, is questioning the legal basis of new fines imposed by the traffic police department. <br> Ajo Noel says the order has no legal backing and must therefore be challenged in court. <br> The Directorate of National Traffic has announced penalties for various traffic offenses ranging from 2,000 to 50,000 SSP for different violations including reckless driving, driving with an expired logbook, and driving a numberless vehicle. </div>
