<div>On the commemoration of the International Human Rights Day, human rights advocates are calling for more capacity building of security personnel to uphold people’s rights. <br> The Executive Director of the Justice and Human Rights Observatory, says security personnel in South Sudan need to be aware of people’s rights when dealing with them. <br> Meanwhile, Community based organization Defy Hate Now is set to launch an open data portal to enhance access to information as a fundamental right. <br> The document repository is an online archive ideal for journalists, researchers, academia and the general public. <br> An Associate Editor at Deft Hate Now, Emmanuel Bida, says it is the rights of citizens to access information. <br> The day is observed annually on the 10th of December to raise awareness about people's social, cultural and physical rights and to ensure the welfare of everyone. They spoke to Miraya's Lucy Kiden on the Breakfast Show.<br> <br> </div>
