13: BONUS Episode - Team USA Volleyball star Jordan Larson - What does it take to be an Olympian? - Part 2

<p>Jordan Larson is headed to her 3rd Olympics with Team USA volleyball.  She was gifted with athleticism and a competitive spirit, but that in itself isn’t what got her to the Olympic team.  Over the past 12 years Jordan has had to adapt and evolve her routines and self-care to ensure that she can continue to perform at the highest level.  This longevity has also given her the opportunity to grow as a teammate and leader. </p> <p> </p> <p>As the team’s veteran, Jordan has seen her role morph from being a naïve individual contributor, to a vocal leader that others look up to.  Jordan says that focusing on what you can control, showing up consistently, and giving your best are the keys to success. </p> <p> </p> <p>Jordan credits her team and support structure for the success she has seen.  In this episode she discusses:</p> <ul><li style="font-weight:400;">How to maintain a high level of competition over time</li> <li style="font-weight:400;">Leadership 101 - Everyone is different, and you need to learn and adapt in order to impact them</li> <li style="font-weight:400;">You don’t have to be great - focus on being consistently good</li> <li style="font-weight:400;">The importance of taking time off</li> <li style="font-weight:400;">Being intentional with connecting with your teammates </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>We are excited to follow Jordan’s Olympic journey.
