100 Degree Heat, Breezy South Winds & Dryness Thru Mon; Cooler Increased Storm Chances Next Tue-Fri; Back to 100 Sat/Sun

<p>Today and over the weekend a ridge over the High Plains expanding to the Canadian border will be the dominating weather feature.  This will lead hot and dry weather with highs in the upper 90’s and low 100’s and lows in the low 70’s.   Breezy winds from the south-southwest direction will intensify dryness and drought conditions.  Starting Sunday evening some late day evening isolated storms start popping out west in Eastern Colorado and by Monday the ridge begins weakening and moving east allowing for the late day evening storms to start working more into northwest KS and southwest NE.  Tuesday and Wednesday a trough from the west breaks gown the ridge pushing it east and zonal flow over the area and weak cool front brings temps back to around 90 and increases chances for storms.  </p>
