On January 21, 2013, Sebi came up with the concept of registered investment advisers (RIAs), who were tasked with the job of helping investors take the correct investment decisions to plan for their future. Ten years forward, Mint's Jash Kriplani spoke with Harsh Roongta, founder, Fee Only Investment Advisers, to capture how the RIA eco-system has developed in India since then.
