Make Disciples that Sustain Revival: Vision and Strategies for Abiding in Christ and Maintaining a Vibrant Spiritual Life

Revival is more like stoking a fire than catching lightning in a bottle. Pastor, author, and missionary statesman A.B. Simpson said it this way: "It is much easier to keep the fire burning than to rekindle it after it has gone out." Once God has lit the flame, how do we keep it burning? How do we sustain revival? What are the common issues that extinguish or quench the flame and what sort of proactive steps can we take in order to avoid letting the flame die? Is it possible for the initial flame to get bigger and hotter over time?
