South Sudan's Peace Monitoring Commission Demands Action - November 12, 2023

The commission monitoring South Sudan’s 2018 peace agreement and the United Nations Mission in the country, UNMISS, has urged the government to fund the recently created commission including the unified forces. The head of Reconstituted Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission, RJMEC, says the unified forces have languished in training and cantonment sites without support.
