<p>WorkingNation is a non-profit campaign and media company whose mission is to shine light on solutions to workforce issues. They focus on creating a pathway for a job seeker to a good job by employing the power of story-telling and media.</p> <p>Ramona expresses the importance of “doing” as we grow our careers and skillsets through out the length of our work-life. She tells us that “the skill-based nature that the workforce is heading towards needs to be talked about in the media and exposed as opportunities”.<span class= "Apple-converted-space"> </span></p> <p>In this episode we discuss the importance of flipping the script and perspective that a 4-year degree is needed to acquire these “high-tech’ jobs at large companies like Google, when in fact you don’t. Just the required skills and some great soft-skills.
