Pies for Progress & Advocating for Education with Abby Arenberg (Episode #16)

Today Claire talked with Abby Arenberg. She is a 15-year-old who has dedicated her Summer to raising money for SMASH, an Oakland based non-profit that holds free three year programs for students of color interested in STEM. Abby has taken advantage of her talent for baking by selling pie to raise her money with her organization Pies for progress. With 120 pies and counting sold, Abby has managed to raise over three thousand dollars so far.
