<p>Check it out on Spotify:<a href="https://spoti.fi/33Z4VsE"> <u>https://spoti.fi/33Z4VsE</u></a></p> <p>Check it out on Apple: <a href="https://apple.co/3AHc2DT"><u>https://apple.co/3AHc2DT</u></a></p> <p>Donald James began his 35-year career at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. &nbsp;He transferred to NASA’s Ames Research Center in 1984 serving in a variety of roles in Public Affairs, Government Relations, and Education.</p> <p>During his career, James co-led the 1997 Ames’ open house, attracting a record-breaking quarter-million visitors; served as Education Director from 1999 to 2006; developed the first project plan for the Orion spacecraft in 2006; and led NASA’s &nbsp;bid to host the International Space University’s 2009 Summer Program.</p> <p>James entered the Senior Executive Service in 2014. &nbsp;In July 2014, NASA Administrator Charles Bolden selected James as Associate Administrator for Education. &nbsp;James retired March 2017.</p> <p>James recently published a book titled <em>“Manners Will Take You Where Brains and Money Won’t: &nbsp;Lessons from 35 years at NASA and Momma’s Wisdom”</em>. &nbsp;The book merges lessons he learned while at NASA with the timeless wisdom from his mother to help students and early-career professionals navigate their future.</p> <p>Donald was born in Stockton, California but grew up mainly in Sacramento.</p> <p><strong>Dreams:</strong></p> <ol> <li>Donald wants to instigate a Manners Renaissance</li> <li>Wants to talk to anybody who will listen about cultivating the manner in which you show up</li> <li>Spread the Manners Love because it is the secret sauce</li> </ol> <p><strong>How you can Help:</strong></p> <ol> <li>Introduce Don to Oprah and Barack Obama.</li> <li>If you like the message, spread it!</li> <li>Read the book and share it.</li> </ol> <p><strong>Contact them at:</strong></p> <p>donaldgjames@comcast.net</p> <p>mannerswilltakeyou@gmail.com</p>
