Merry Warm and Dry Christmas; Highs 50’s and 60’s Through the Weekend; Colder More Seasonal But Dry New Years

<p>Upper-level ridge and southwest flow aloft over the region through Sunday and will result in unseasonably warm and dry conditions through the Christmas weekend.  Highs today and tomorrow will be in the upper 60’s and lows will remain above freezing.  The next shortwave disturbance and dry cold front moves through on Christmas Eve with breezy north winds and a bit cooler temp for Christmas and Sunday.   Daytime reading dip into the 50’s and lows into the low to mid-20’s both still above normal readings for the Christmas season.  With no rain or snow in site and the dry conditions prevailing, fire danger conditions will remain high when winds are a bit breezy in the afternoons.  Another quick moving dry system shoots by on Monday.</p> <p> </p>
