Melissa Barrera has been unfairly fired by Paramount Pictures and the Spyglass Media Group after posting her thoughts on the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. In addition, Jenna Ortega has voluntarily removed herself from the project, slated for a 2024 release. As of now, it is unclear whether or not Ortega&#39;s exit was in response to Barrera&#39;s firing or if scheduling conflicts were a contributing factor as well. On the 118th episode of Let&#39;s Talk Movies, we&#39;re giving our thoughts on the Scream story, as well as reviewing the biggest horror surprise of the year - Eli Roth&#39;s Thanksgiving (2023)!!
