Legal Representative Of Clare Woman Who Sued HSE Reacts To Settlement Win

On Thursday's Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Rachael O' Shaughnessy who is a Partner with Homs Assist who are a legal firm who assisted Rebecca Collins in her settlement with the HSE. Rachael described Rebecca's recent settlement with the HSE having sued for medical negligence , a breach of duty of care and medical mismanagement for it's part in the loss of her first baby, Hannah in 2007. She discussed Rebecca's story describing the trauma she and her husband experienced along with highlighting the moment she decided that the information she had received regarding her daughter's death was incorrect. Rachael called on the HSE to take into account any recommendations provided on the investigation report in order to prevent another incident similar to this one from occurring.
