Kwara police confirm abduction of lawmaker’s wife, two children

<p>Kwara State police command, on Tuesday, confirmed the abduction of the wife of a serving lawmaker in the State House of Assembly and her two children.</p>, <p>Spokesman of the command, Okasanmi Ajayi, who confirmed the incident, said details were still sketchy.</p>, <p>He, however, promised to make the comprehensive details of the incident available at the right time.</p>, <p>The lawmaker, Lawal Ayanshola Soliu’s wife was abducted at about 10:00 am alongside their two children at their Shao residence in Moro Local Government of Kwara State by AK-47-wielding men.</p>, <p>The dare-devil gunmen stormed their residence shooting sporadically before abducting the three victims.</p>, <p>Lawal Ayanshola Soliu is the All Progressives Congress, APC, member representing Ipaye/Malete/Olooru Constituency of Moro Local Government in the House of Assembly.</p>
