<p>2022 is looking to be another difficult year for online businesses and even consumers in Ghana. Ghana wants to increase tax revenues by adding a levy on mobile money payments, bank transfers, merchant payments and inward remittances. Ghana's Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta announced back in November 2021 the introduction of the E-levy; a tax being passed onto Mobile Money (MoMo) Transactions. Is the introduction of Ghana's E-levy (Electrical transaction levy) fair or another way of Government passing on taxes to the Ghanaian people?
