She was getting burned out at her full-time job and saw the potential with YouTube as that income was going up. So she decided to join to capitalize on YouTube more and pursue going full-time. Before that, she was doing different things dabbling on YouTube. She would make knitwear videos but the process was slow and not sustainable so in February 2017, after moving to Las Vegas, she decided to switch her niche to beauty and makeup. Though she switched to makeup, she wasn’t putting much intention into niching or picking video topics, but a video recommendation she saw inspired her to join the bootcamp, and the rest is history.</span></p> <p><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Treat YouTube like a business. Credit card debt is the worst way to fund your business!”</span></em></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">She had about 16k subscribers before joining the bootcamp. Now she has over 90k subscribers and is a full-time YouTuber, making money with AdSense and affiliates. The bootcamp gave her new tools and the confidence that the niche she picked was the right choice.
