She has sung on recorded projects with Mary Mary, Al Green, Kanye West and Dorinda Clark-Cole. She has performed on the BET Awards, Soul Train Awards, the Arsenio Hall &amp; Jay Leno Show. She has graced the stage with music legends such as Natalie Cole, U2, Yolanda Adams and BeBe Winans where she was invited to sing for Oprah Winfrey. After 14 years of success in the music industry as a background vocalist, Shanta wrote &amp; released her first single “I Will Follow” in 2016. As an independent artist she raises awareness about deeper issues within communities. This artist continued to illustrate her heart &amp; passion with another billboard charting single, “God Sees You”. Shanta wrote &amp; produced this song to raise awareness about suicide &amp; mental health within our nation. Shanta is a minister, trauma informed care-educator, suicide-prevention advocate, philanthropist &amp; social media influencer. She has served throughout Central &amp; South America building homes for orphans, ministering in song and running summer programs for impoverished youth. This amazing artist continues to use her gifts &amp; talents to make a global impact.
