Episode 27: The Woman in the Polka Dot Dress

<p><strong>On November 22nd, 1963, US President John F. Kennedy was riding in an open car when he was shot in the head. Swiftly, authorities descended on Lee Harvey Oswald, a former marine and defector to the Soviet Union of Cuban ancestry, charging him with carrying out the assassination on his own. However, before he could be tried and convicted, he himself was assassinated. Since then, rumours have swirled about whether Oswald really did it - and if he didn’t, who did? After the assassination of Kennedy was only the first in a line of public figures who opposed US apartheid, capitalism or even just aggressive foreign policy being assassinated in the 1960s. First it was Malcolm X. Then, Martin Luther King Jr., and finally Kennedy’s own brother Robert. In all four of these murders, there is suspicion about the commonly accepted narrative and, indeed, a common theme - the American intelligence community.</strong></p>
