<p>MARCELLA REMUND is a native of Omaha, Nebraska, and a South Dakota transplant, where she teaches at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. She also serves as Faculty Advisor for the University’s only creative writing &amp; literary student organization, the Vermillion Literary Project (VLP).</p> <p>Her poems have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies. She is the author of a chapbook, The Sea is My Ugly Twin (Finishing Line Press 2018), and her first full-length collection, The Book of Crooked Prayer, is out from Finishing Line in July 2020.<br> </p> <p>In addition to her own writing and university teaching, Marcella has been teaching writer-ly classes and giving presentations in public community education settings for more than 20 years.
