How do you create a career that merges both pharmacy and fitness? It seems like a daunting task—one that you need a PharmD to embark on. BUT, why wait for graduation to pursue your passion…when you can start in your first year of pharmacy school? That’s what this week’s guest is actively pursuing, who transitioned from the fitness industry and into the profession of pharmacy to script his dream career. P1 Student Pharmacist at University of Iowa College of Pharmacy with interests in sports medicine and entrepreneurship. As a first-year pharmacy student, he has almost six years of community pharmacy experience, currently working as a Pharmacy Intern at Hy-Vee Pharmacy. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from University of Northern Iowa, and is currently a Certified Athletic Trainer.
