<p>The ancient Astrologers were looking for “Portends” or “Omens” in the sky long before they were looking at a horoscopes of an individual. The system of mathematical points derived from the position of the planets called Hermetic “Lots” &nbsp;or Later called “Parts” came out of that earlier divinatory system.</p> <p>The idea of casting lots to see what the gods had to say about a situation or events found it’s way into the horoscope.
