Changing Times Ag Wx; June Hit & Miss Rain & Up and Down Temps Has Crops Hanging On; July Looking Hot & Dry Raising Concern

<p>Today high-pressure ridge building over the area will result in breezy south winds, sunny skies and temps warming into the upper 90’s. Tomorrow will still be hot with highs in the upper-90’s then in the evening a cool front and disturbance will produce some scattered showers and storm chances through the night.   Friday and Saturday upper-level flow becomes more zonal over the area with a trough to the north and ridge to the south increasing later afternoon and evening storm chances and drop into the mid-80s to around 90 behind a cool front sandwiched between the trough to the north and ridge to the south.  Sunday and Monday the ridge rebuilds over the Plains with 90-degree summer heat returning and the evening storm chances become more limited and isolated with little effect on the moderate and extreme drought conditions across the tri-state region.        </p>
