Changing Times Ag Wx; Active WX To Start June Turns Hot & Dry; Mid Month Summer Heat in the 90’s

<p>Today high-pressure over eastern SD and NE works some cooler slightly drier 70-degree air into the area. Thursday warmer upper 80-degree air returns with a round of late day storm activity as cool front approached the region. Friday, Saturday and Sunday upper-level ridging will begin a period of warmer and dry weather. Friday’s temperatures will be seasonal in the low 80’s, but as ridge intensifies Saturday and Sunday, we will see summer like heat in the 90’s.  Winds will also be breezy from the south-southwest direction, and we could see some isolated storm activity in the evening.    </p>
