Business woman of the month - Cara Hirsch, Founder of Hirsch + Associates

Today, we had a chat with our businesswoman of the month, Cara Hirsch, Founder of Hirsch + Associates, and discussed the opportunities and challenges women entrepreneurs face.</p><p> </p><p>The 31-year-old Winnipeg native started her namesake real estate consulting company, Hirsch + Associates, in January 2019 after</p><p>leaving Milborne Group, where she worked for 9 years before deciding to venture off on her own. With over 10 years of</p><p>experience in the Toronto market, she has sold 7,800 units and has launched 30+ successful projects to date, from inception all the way until they are built. As a real estate investor herself (she began buying a property at just 24-years-old), it only seemed fitting that she take the next step in her career and start her own firm.</p><p>In an industry that is slow to change, largely male-dominated, and saturated with companies that have been passed down</p><p>generationally, it can be daunting to start your own business. However, it has proved to be a successful decision as Hirsch +</p><p>Associates impressively launched two large developments just shy of 1,000 units, selling just under $1 billion in revenue in their first year.</p>
