8 years ago, Nebraska fans were divided on going to a bowl game with a 5-7 record…if they had the option this year, would anyone push back?

<p>-Let’s rewind the tape to Mike Riley’s first year in 2015, following a very successful (yet tumultuous) Bo Pelini era at Nebraska, where the team won 9+ games for 7 straight years</p><p>-Riley’s first year ended at 5-7 in the regular season, but the team’s APR was so good that it was able to fill a bowl spot when not enough teams qualified, and the Huskers beat UCLA in the Foster Farms Bowl</p><p>-At the time, a lot of people were not fans of going to the bowl…what about if they were able to this time?
