<p>Hello, Paris, France!</p><p>Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds, your daily dose of hope, imagination, wisdom, stories, practical tips, and general riffing on this and that.</p><p>Monasteries established by my teacher <a href="https://plumvillage.org/about/thich-nhat-hanh/">Thich Nhat Hanh</a>, the Vietnamese Buddhist monk are not just places for mindful walking and dharma talks. <a href="https://www.bluecliffmonastery.org/">Blue Cliff</a> in New York - like its sister monastery <a href="https://deerparkmonastery.org/">Deer Park</a> in Escondido, California - offer self-help practices like Qigong.</p><p>Given the influence of COVID many teachings have gone online with YouTube sessions. One I enjoy is called Blood Cleanse Qigong offered by Brother Insight.
