25.26: Jesus in Leviticus 2: The Consequences of Sin: Guilt, Remorse and Contrition

<p>As we’re fast-tracking through Leviticus, we find in the next few &nbsp;chapters further instructions from God to Moses and the priests. God &nbsp;doesn’t want to leave any circumstance regarding sin and how to get <a href="https://giselleaguiar.com/2020/11/12/understand-the-importance-of-atonement-why-jesus-had-to-die/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">atonement</a> to doubt. So, the <a href="https://giselleaguiar.com/2021/05/25/jesus-in-leviticus-atonement-for-our-sins-what-sacrifices-actually-please-god/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">burnt, grain and peace offerings that we covered in the last post</a>, is just the start, but not enough. Kind of gives the idea that God wants us to pay attention.&nbsp;</p> <p>If you want to reap all the benefits of salvation including the 1-way, non-stop ticket to Heaven then…</p> <p>Believe. Repent. Be Baptized. Receive the Holy Spirit.&nbsp;</p> <p>Pray this prayer humbly and wholeheartedly…</p> <p>“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Please forgive me. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and my life to you. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. I surrender my whole life to you and I will follow you for the rest of my life. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. In Jesus' name, Amen.”</p> <p>Jesus didn’t die so we could have religion!
