10.12: Jesus is the Power and Wisdom of God: It's Yours for the Asking!

<p>Power and wisdom — those are two things that we &nbsp;all want! They work together. We can have the power to make decisions, &nbsp;but without wisdom, we make foolish ones. We can have all the wisdom in &nbsp;the world, but if we abuse our power, that also leads to destruction. &nbsp;Today we start a study through Paul’s first letter to the church in &nbsp;Corinth.</p> <p>Corinth was plagued with sexual immorality. That’s a problem in our &nbsp;world today, so this should be helpful. Paul spent a lot of time there. &nbsp;However, once he left, they started going back to their old ways.</p> <p><em><strong>Instead of the church influencing the world, </strong></em><br> <em><strong>the world influenced the church.</strong></em></p> <p>That is exactly what is going on in today’s world!
