KOBI

Ahweyevu Oghenekobiruo (KOBI) is a Nigerian contemporary gospel singer/songwriter from Warri, Delta state. Born on the 27th of February 1995 into a Christian family from the urhobo-speaking ethnic group of the state, Kobi is the eldest of four (4) children with his parents being ministers of the gospel. He started developing a passion for music at the age of ten when he made his first attempt at learning the piano. Not long after he joined the choir as one of the youngest members at the time and has ever since remained a chorister in whatever church or fellowship he’s indicated his membership. The title “His Ambassador”; as an alias he bears was birthed out of the place of revelation as touching his divine call in the music industry- representing the interest of the King. To this end, he has performed excellently at various levels in his musical career.
