Firesuite

Firesuite were an alternative rock band from Sheffield active from 2002 to 2017. Their sound evolved over time, initially starting out with a more punky, fuzzy sound reminiscent of Hüsker Dü they took on more shoegaze and post-rock influences, akin to Sigur Ros, Mew or the Pumpkins. The band had a rotating line-up for a number of years, but were formed and fronted throughout by Chris Anderson (who went on to make music with New Ghost). Their longest lasting line-up, who also recorded both long players, were Anderson on vocal/guitar/keys, Rico Storer (drums), Chris Minor (bass), Sarah Griffiths (guitar/vocals) and Stuart Longden (keys).
