Luis Cardenas, known as "2 DEEP”, is a DJ/ Producer, born in the Bronx and raised for part of his life in Guayaquil, Ecuador. A transplant to Los Angeles, 2 DEEP has been pushing a distinct electronic latin sound. Although 2 DEEP is known for producing the tropical EDM genre known as Moombahton, his sound doesn’t stop there. With a whole host of diverse collaborations on his roster, like “Nota” with RICKSTARR, 2 DEEP has demonstrated his flexibility in style and has successfully taken his sound to the commercial market. 2 DEEP’s online team of support comes from all levels of the industry, ranging from online and in print publications such as Telemundo, DJ Mag and Vibe Magazine, to music labels like Mad Decent and Dim Mak. In addition to his reach in the written spheres, 2 DEEP has had his music played globally by Major Lazer, Diplo, Carnage, Dillon Francis, Skrillex, Flosstradamus, GTA and more at a wide array of festivals and radio stations. Currently, 2 DEEP is focused on the realization of projects which include reggaeton party “Gasolina” and working with Steve Aoki’s new Latin label “Dimmak Enfuego”.
