This is the third lesson of the Biblical doctrine of the physical resurrection of the body from the dead. Dr. Mitchell will be teaching in this lesson of the physical resurrection of the believer in the the Lord Jesus Christ. Here he, in speaking of the body of Christ, the church, declares the hope for the individual Christian, which is to be with the Christ. Philippians 1:20-24. He also speaks of the hope of the church, collectively, found in Philippians 3:20-21, and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. All believers in Christ have their citizenship in heaven from which we eagerly await the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
