What are the proofs that this world is the second creation? (English) - Majalis al Hikma

<p>What are the proofs that this world is the second creation and that there was a first creation before this?</p> <p><br></p> <p>In the Qur’an Majeed, Allah Ta’ala proclaims that you cannot see any differences in the Lord’s creation. Addressing Rasulullah SA in a Hadith Qudsi, Allah Ta’ala declares, “If you did not exist I would not have created the celestial spheres.” When someone passes away, why do we recite the verse “inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un”?</p> <p><br></p> <p>How do these Ayats, Hadith, and other sayings of the Prophet SA prove that this world is the second creation?</p> <p><br></p> <p>If it is established that this world is indeed the second creation, then why did Allah Ta’ala create it?
