VOP 2022: April 15, 2022 The Beauty of G.O.O.D Friday “It is Finished” Turning Humiliation to Glorification G: Glory of God revealed O: Obedience turns Pain to Gain O: Overcome by the Blood of the Lanb D: Deliverance from Sin and Death We have the last laugh over the adversary because Death is swallowed up in Victory through Jesus Christ. What the devil meant for evil, was turned around for good. Humiliation was replaced with Glorification. The price of Salvation cannot be quantified or measured. The weight of Man’s sin could only be put on Christ alone. He deserves all the glory. The same way sin came through one Man Adam, God in His infinite wisdom and mercy sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to save Man from the condemnation and eternal damnation that was meant for man, and replaced with eternal redemption by the Blood of Jesus Christ. He paid fully by His precious Blood she’s on Calvary. The pain and suffering of our Lord Jesus Christ brought out the best of God’s plan and purpose through the redemption by the Blood of Jesus Christ. The death of Jesus Christ on the cross shit the door of spiritual death and opened the door of eternal Life. The empty tomb represents the final Victory over death. To be absent in the body is to be present with Christ. What started as shame, pain and defeat ended up as gain and glory. The singular obedience of Christ, by sacrificially yielding His flesh to be crucified opened the door of Salvation to the entire Creation and world. The essence of the death of Jesus Christ on the cross is to destroy and defeat the works of the devil. It is to totally abolish sin and spoil all the wickedness of the principalities, making a public show and triumphing over them. “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
