VOP 2021: December 27, 2021 The Beauty of waiting on the Lord “The Omega anointing” Although nobody naturally desires to be the last, there must always be first and last in anything or program of events by divine order and plan. The beauty of any position, either first or last is that God is present at all times, whether at the beginning, the middle or the end. He is The Alpha and Omega, the beginning and end, the first and last. When we wait patiently for God to show up and attend to our petition or request, we get the best results and He showcases His power and glory through our testimonies. The time factor may seem to men to be negative, but in God’s calendar, there is no lateness, but rather His faithfulness and goodness crowns our waiting with everlasting joy and peace. The prompt response from men or other sources delivers limited blessings to anyone waiting for a response and may be associated with negative side effects. On the contrary God’s timing delivers us from known and unknown calamities and problems. Since we know in part, we must hold on to God and wait patiently for His appearing in every situation. “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭1:8‬. “Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭7:8‬ ‭KJV.‬‬ “He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.” ‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬. “Wait on the LORD: Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.” Psalm‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬.
