One in the United Kingdom and one in Australia.</p><p>On this episode of Vaccine 411… could a genetically modified cow be the answer to the vaccine question?</p><p>First, the latest vaccine news from around the world: </p><p>United Kingdom: Dexamethasone, was proven in British clinical trials to reduce the risk of death in COVID-19 patients with severe lung damage. The steroid is currently on the market and widely available. </p><p>Geneva: The World Health Organization will suspend testing the malaria drug Hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for COVID-19 after it showed no benefit it trials around the world. </p><p>Germany: CureVac, a German Pharmaceutical company, received the green light to begin human trials for their vaccine candidate.
