Two-Minute Drill: Redhawks Rank Among the OVC’s Best in Academic Achievement in 2020-21

A total of 164 Southeast Missouri student-athletes were named to the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2020-21 academic year. The Redhawks had the third-most selections of any school in the OVC. The 2021 OVC Champion women's track & field team led SEMO with 24 honorees followed by football with 21. To be listed, recipients must have achieved at least a 3.25 grade point average, have been eligible and on the team throughout the competitive season in their chosen NCAA-sponsored sport(s) and used a season of competition. In addition, thirty-nine SEMO student-athletes claimed OVC Academic Medals of Honor for the 2020-21 academic year. The OVC Academic Medal of Honor is given annually to the student-athletes who achieve the highest grade point average in a Conference-sponsored sport.
