According to an article from the Register, maybe you should think about this again. According to the article, Google is being sued because it is taking a couple hundred MB from you on your cellular data even if the phone is sitting there quietly not being touched. Why? Because Google is preparing potential ads that might be of interest to you after it collects data in the background.
