THE ROLE OF THE FATHER IN A BLESSED FAMILY: Pst Bernice Aliyu (Bible Study Wed May 11, 2022)

<p>God designed the family for great purposes. We have been created, endowed, and &nbsp;empowered by God to achieve these purposes. The family can only fulfill God’s purpose &nbsp;when every member of the family aligns with God’s design and principles. (Genesis 1:26- 30; Psalm 127:3; Malachi 2:15)&nbsp;</p> <p>Every human being belongs to a family; living within our various families as God intended &nbsp;will bring joy, harmony and blessings to us, our families, the church, and our nation. The &nbsp;great Israelite leader, Joshua, exhorted the Israelites to follow and serve the Lord, their &nbsp;Maker and Redeemer, as he declared to them his own conscious decision to serve God &nbsp;with his family irrespective of what the Israelites chose to do.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>(Joshua 24:15) We must be determined to play our role according to God’s word, every time, in every place &nbsp;and at any phase of life irrespective of what others do. When every member of the family &nbsp;walks in love and obedience, the family is blessed by God.</p>
