The January 6th Committee Holds Second Public Hearing 06/13/22

Over and over, advisers told President Trump his stolen election claims were completely bogus, but he kept pushing the "big lie" that led to a violent mob storming the Capitol on January 6th. That’s the case the January 6th Committee laid out today during their second public hearing. And the major indexes posted a sea of red today, with the Dow closing down nearly 900 points, and the S&P 500 closing in bear market territory. It comes days after the Labor Department reported inflation in May had its biggest jump since 1981. Plus, a bipartisan group of senators announced they’ve reached a tentative agreement on new gun legislation. Also, for the first time, an all-Black group of climbers made it to the top of Mount Everest.
