<p>TODAY a lee trough and associated low-pressure and cool front moves across the area, turning winds to the north gusting to 40 mph and dropping highs only into the 60’s for a day. Tonight, tomorrow and Sunday high-pressure and ridging over the Rockies and reaching over the area turns winds back to the south gusting to 30 mph, warming temperatures into the upper 80’s to and low 90’s and keeping thing dry with elevated fire weather conditions. Monday and the last day of summer appropriately starts off with a taste of Fall, with a cold front and upper-level trough moving through the westerly flow coming over the Rockies. This will drop highs into the 70’s and lows into the 40’s for a couple days and may bring some scattered rain chances later in the day Monday and Monday night. </p>
